In celebration of Father’s Day and “Be Kind to Animals Week” which has been celebrated every year since 1915 – American Humane’s Be Kind to Animals Week commemorates the role animals play in our live, promote ways to continue treat them humanely, and encourage others, especially children, to do the same.

This event seeks to give pet owners and would be pet owners a chance to learn about proper training and pet handling, hear out the different animal welfare organizations and their advocacies, and bond with their pets for a day filled with contests, prizes and fun activities! It also pays tribute to all dads by pampering them on their special day!

Arts and Crafts

The simultaneous event highlights a pet bazaar, pet grooming area, animal-themed arts and crafts area, pet training area, pet adoption, pet shout-outs for would be pet owners, booths for animal welfare groups, talks by animal welfare groups and experts, entertainment, pet fashion shows, special performances by animals with special talents, photo booth, celebrity guests, contest, dad pampering area, a dad and pet mini-Olympics, an auction for the benefit of Compassion and Responsibility for Animals (CARA), raffles, freebies and other fun activities that your pets and whole family will surely enjoy!
