PinayMom Cosmania 2009

Our son will turn 7 years old this month and he wants anime to be the theme of his birthday party. Currently, his favorite anime character is Aang of Avatar (The Last Airbender).

As a mom, we want our kid’s 7th year birthday to be something special than usual. I already bought  some materials and fabrics for his anime costume and found a tailor to sew it for us since I was never fond of sewing a complicated dress.

Honestly, I don’t really adore anime shows anymore, unlike when I was still in my teenage years, I really go crazy watching various anime shows after school. They’re not even called anime then, just simply cartoon shows.

To better appreciate Anime (again), my husband brought us to Cosmania 2009. It was held last Sunday, September 13, 2009 in SM Megamall. My 2 kids, ages 4 and the older one who is turning 7 years old next week really had a blast. They even don’t like to go home anymore. As if they were transported inside their favorite show in the television.

Below are some of the pictures:

Favorite - Little Darling of the Crowd

This is one of our favorite. She’s so adorable and smart. You can see in this set of pictures that photographers were surrounding her to take their best shot.

David and BumbleBee (David)

My son David, and the name of the guy inside Bumblebee’s suit is David also.

Cosplayer Couple

For real and for anime…they’ll always be on each other arms.

Duo or Die

Duo or Die

Nothing can beat the duo…partners in crime… and in pictures too!

And lastly… the durable anime of the day!
